| In many cases hemorrhoids
tend to stay with you but many times do not cause you
any difficulty or discomfort. Internal hemorrhoids can
remain without symptoms for a long time. Bleeding and
extension of internal hemorrhoids through the anus are
the most common symptoms (known as a prolapse). If the
hemorrhoids become more serious and develop a blood clot
known as thrombosis, the condition goes from moderate to
severe and will need evaluation. Thrombosed hemorrhoids
do not usually go away on their own and the person will
be signaled by a significant increase in discomfort,
pain and inflammation. |
